"SPECTACULAR TWO DAY FAREWELL"
How is it possible for two individuals to be so blessed.....I do not know. Karl and I are still in awe at the unbelievable support of our family and friends this past weekend. Family coming from Colorado, friends from as far away as Wyoming, not to mention the sacrifice made by each of you. With that kind of love and encouragement how could we possibly fail? "YOU ARE WONDERFUL...THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!"

"Time Is Getting Short"
The emotional roller coaster that one experiences is unbelievable as you prepare to leave your family and home for two years. And yet I found myself engulfed in long hours of packing sorting and the enormous task of preparing our home to be left to another family, while yearning to spend that time with my own.
In the beginning I had the feeling not to get involved with my "50th" reunion which took a massive amount of time on my part. As secretary I was given the assignment of signing contracts, collecting money, making deposits and paying deposits on venues for the function. Because I was voted MC of the program the chairman gave me the responsibility to write, direct and rehearse the program for Saturday evening. At the last minute it was realized that there were no decorations for the Saturday night function so I took care of that, setting up, taking down and delivering back to the florist. The success of our reunion was fanominal, but it could have been more time with my family.
Our garage sale last Saturday was an amazingly successful. However, it was primarily due to the sell of my water color paintings. It would have been easier to have an art show. Live and learn. I hope and pray that this week will end the house involvement and I can get back to the important things of life, "FAMILY!"
News of the pending birth of our second great-grand child was announced by Heather and Corey last Friday at Lindsay's "50th" birthday party. This sweet spirit will come to earth sometime in April, what a great birthday present that would be.
Our 9 year old grand-daughter Amanda has such a sharp wit. After the garage sale her disappointment was profound as she had not sold her two bicycles to be able to buy a new cruiser. I gave her some encouragement and place one of the bikes KSL Classified. After she said to me. "Do you want to hear a blonde joke? "I placed a ad on KSL for my bike and I was so impressed by the ad that I bought it myself." Oh that girl......what am I going to do without her sweet humor and loving caresses.
