Elder Henderson spent a gasley amount of hours traveling back to Cape Town as well as when he went home for his mom's funeral. On his way home he met up with 8 elders and sister returning from their missions. Five from Ireland and three from Honduras. The first thing they asked was, "Why are you alone?" They then put him under their protecting wings. Arriving in Salt Lake City they walked from the plane into a crowd of approximately 100 with banners, balloons and probably girls in waiting with Elder Henderson right smack dab in the middle of them.
Well not to be out done, upon his arrival last Sunday morning at 6:15 am you can preview his reception. I would like to take credit however, a group from Dub Land of 600 (not on the small plane, of course) to build houses for the projects here. A girls school was there to welcome them and we were able to cash in on the event....they were so darling about the whole thing. I have tried to load the precious video from my camera but it just won't work.....darn!
